Tara Buffum, MOT, OTR/L
Tara discovered her dream to become an occupational therapist in her early teenage years. After years of volunteering at various clinics and hospitals throughout southern California, she graduated with her Masters of Arts degree in Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science from the University of Southern California in 2015. She completed fieldwork in a pediatric private practice specializing in children aged 2-13 years with various fine motor, handwriting, and self help skill delays, as well as in an inpatient/outpatient mental health hospital working with ages ranging from 5 to 65 years on self regulation, impulse control, and return to meaningful occupations. She believes in treating the whole child and strives to help each child gain the independence and potential she knows they can achieve.
